Our Story

Founded by two Ben’s. One with Persian roots and the other Greek, both with a huge passion for the culinary scene and wines.

“At Baba’s we wanted to create a place that reminded us of our youth, the majority of our childhood memories created around the dinner table, where family recipes become enduring favourites. Every Persian/Mediterranean will attest to the superiority of their Grandma’s cooking. With Baba’s, we aim to arouse such sentiments.

For us, our food is best enjoyed in the company of family and friends with every dish being passed around the table, as we have back at home.”

Mehdi Parastesh is an Iranian chef from Tehran with 15 years experience in the industry with Persian food. His move to the UK happened just two years ago, and with Baba’s he wants to share his passion for home food with you.
